PLAYSCHOOL, PRESCHOOL AND DAYCARE

It is in these early years that a child’s understanding about the world is beginning to take shape. The influences that bear on him at this stage will determine his attitude towards the world.

It is our job to carefully nurture qualities of healthy curiosity, sensory awareness, concentration and compassion so that children may feel a deep sense of acceptance towards themselves.

By focusing on mental, physical, and spiritual aspects of development we foster cognitive and physical growth while strengthening the inner qualities of love, kindness and joy. In this way a sense of inner happiness and success is naturally developed.

The Early Years programme at the Living Wisdom School offers parents the highest standards of safety, care and learning for their young child. With prime focus on the physical and emotional needs of each child, our loosely structured curriculum allows plenty of time for physical activity, quiet time (including daily storybook sessions for groups and individuals), group and individual activities, meals and rest.

Activities are customized for different age groups with a wide range of age-appropriate toys, books and areas that stimulate creative, imaginative play.

Living Wisdom Preschool provides children with an emotionally supportive climate that encourages imagination, creativity, discovery, and a love for learning. We use the Education for Life philosophy and an environment filled with love to provide developmentally appropriate opportunities, materials, and activities. The children are able to experience who they are and relate to the world around them.

DAYCARE

For the working parent, we provide Full Daycare as well as Extended School and Day Boarding facilities. The parent is assured of the highest standards of care, nurturing and occupation for the young child, with adequate naptime arrangements, healthy snack and meal provision, a certified nurse on site, priority tie-up with a local hospital. All primary care givers are given Paediatric First Aid training.
